Linda’s Gluten Wise Options
Linda’s Eating Place offers many safe options for our Gluten sensitive and Celiac customers.
We have a dedicated GF food prep area of the restaurant, where most of our vegetables and proteins are handled and all GF batters, (pancake, waffle & fish), and breads are prepared. Assembly on line is done with much care and attention on fresh parchment sheets with washed hands and utensils.
We are proud of our ability to maintain our GF Oven, Mixer, Grill, Waffle Iron, Toaster and Deep Fryer!
We use specific utensils for GF prep, baking and final plating.
All of our soups are house made, many GF. Our Chili is GF.
Our breakfasts are almost all Celiac friendly with GF toast as an option.
Waffles, Pancakes, French Toast. Our burgers and fresh, pure beef, and chicken is an option also! All our sandwiches can be made GF and of course our Fries are Fresh Cut and cooked in the GF Fryer. We have beautiful Salads and Fruit Cups! Don’t forget the Fish & Chips!
Raised in a family with 3 Celiac siblings, while 3 of us not, you learn to live with both worlds under one roof. Most families are not 100% Celiacs, but they manage to live together. We believe it is possible to manage this in the restaurant environment as well. My sisters wanted safe options when they eat out… lots of options. At Linda’s there are options…. Lots of them.
We are as cautious as any restaurant that is not entirely GF can be, however we also need you to know that much of our business is not GF and we serve both world’s. Wheat products are a large part of our day as well.
